Family-friendly
Our games aren’t difficult and time-consuming to learn, but they are also engaging enough that Mom and Dad can enjoy them just as much as Little Brother or Little Sister. This makes them work for a wide range of ages—the whole family can enjoy them together!
(P.S. What’s inside the games is family-friendly too. No uncomfortable surprises here. You can play them with your six-year-old daughter or ninety-six-year-old grandmother.)
Nature-based
The theme for each game and book we make is in some way inspired by something our family loves in real life. A lot of what we love happens to be outside. So, from wildlife to wild places, many of our games and books have nature-based themes.
(P.S. Our games and books love to be played or read outside. They’ve never told us that, of course. We can just tell.)
Lightly Educational
We don’t make educational products, but many of our games and books are lightly educational. In other words, we’re not trying to teach anybody anything on purpose, but who knows, you might accidentally learn something along the way.
(P.S. Don’t worry. You won’t be “accidentally learning” advanced physics or anything like that. Think more along the lines of what kinds of foods bears like to eat or how many species of bees exist.)
At Fishing Bridge USA, we know that you want to be engaged and connected with the people you love. You want to enjoy simple, genuinely fun moments together—and often. You want to feel good about the time you’re spending with your family.
In order to do that, you need to spend both quality and quantity time together. The problem is you don’t want to have to constantly plan big, elaborate activities . . . and that you have a range of ages to accommodate . . . and that you want something different than another night of everyone in front of a screen “together”.
We believe families (and friends!) deserve to spend time together in simple, regular, enjoyable ways. Quality time doesn’t have to be expensive, elaborate, or planned in advance. It can be as light and easy as pulling out a card game and spending 30 minutes around the table playing together.
We understand how challenging it can feel to find joyful, no-prep family fun. But the good news is that you’ve found some right here! Our games are straightforward enough to learn in a few minutes, but interesting enough that the whole family can enjoy playing together. Making together happen is as easy as one, two, three.
